Lesson 9 About Deep Learning
One technology field of machine learning, which discusses complex neural networks with multiple layers. Deep Learning solved a neural network problem, which were not solved for a long time, by ‘Multi-layered’ technology. The analysis performance has been dramatically improved by using more layers and the complexity. This is one reason why the name is ‘Deep’ Learning.
Recent technology improvement allows us to calculate complex networks with a lot of layers. As a result, this technology was getting popular.
Neural Network
Neural network is a model of human beings’ neural circuit in their brains, which is used as a kind of machine learning process. It consists of input layer, which gets the input data, hidden layer(or intermediate layer), which processes values from input layer, and output layer, which outputs the result.
Deep Learning Example
Deep Learning is a model with many hidden layers in neural network, in order to realize better performance. The large number of hidden layers makes complex data learning possible. There are four application areas, Image Recognition, Voice Recognition, Natural Language Processing, and Robotics Abnormality Detection.
